Have you ever looked inside your closet and said how sick of your clothes you are.. dont you wish you could just design your own clothes because last time you went into the mall you didnt really see anything you really..well, loved?

Time to envy those who decide to take matter into their own hands. A few local guys, one of whom was a colleague of mine for a few years at a local family restaurant, decided to design their own line of clothing based on a comfortable and unique sense of style.

Not only do these pieces represent a chic logo, but they jazz up their shirts using argyle patterns and starstruck designs.

Some are suckers for guys with gorgous eyes...some for chocolate..mine...sequin. It can be on shoes, bags, blouses or hats..but no matter what it is, I melt whenever I see it. It kind of reminds me of the..( I cant believe I'm quoting her..but the Paris Hilton quote.."Life is too short to blend it." If you feel yucky, then the vibe you’re giving off to your friends, guys and total strangers isn’t very charming. Studies show that woman who are sporting a glowing tan feel better about themselves. With the knowledge we have that has informed us about how dangerous UV rays are to our skin, it’s better to fake and bake then sit yourself outside roasting like a thanksgiving pig. I don’t mean run to CVS and buy a cheap version of self-tanner because you don’t want to be walking around looking like George Hamilton. You want to buy a reliable product made by a company you know won’t leave you looking orange or streaky. Estee Lauder makes a good one if you’re looking on the higher end ... but Jergens makes a good product and will leave you with a nice glow in a couple days.

Believe it or not these badboys are making a comeback. Regardless of their rep. they are adorable and can really flatter a figure..(as long as you choose the right size & style). They come in everything from cotton to denim and many stores and designers are now hanging them on their racks. I just bought two from FOREVER21 and they are so cute! Forever21 is a great place to find high-fashion looks at reasonable prices. I'll give you a glimpse of ones that are wallet-friendly, and ones that are coming from right off the runways.

MAXI DRESSES

Note To Self: Do not use these dresses as a way to cover a bloated day or the fact you didn't have time to hit the gym before beach season. Disregard what Mary-Kate Olsen says, wearing bigger clothes doesnt make you look more slimmer..it either makes you look like a homeless person or it screams insecurity. Maxi dresses are beautiful and can be worn in super-casue situations or a nigh on the town. Designers are attacking this trend and a fabulous outcome it is...Everyone from Missoni to the Gap to Roberto Cavalli are creating looks surrounded by this new phenomenon and the great thing is, you can find these dresses at Marshalls or TJMAX for 1/10 of the price.

Sunglasses!

You can be on the same boat with me or not but when it comes to finding the perfect pair of shades, I am a firm believer in splurging on a pair of sunglasses. Regardless of what people say you do wear them year round.. its still pretty bright in the winter!!! So if you think about it.. if end up buying about 6 pairs of cheap sunglasses a year.. you might as well just buy one really nice pair that you know you will take care of and wear year round.

If you want to buy good sunglasses, you wanna make sure the designer is renowned for making a good product so you don't get ripped off. It's good to buy directly from the designer it's self but if you don't, here are some reliable places that offer warrenties just incase our inner clutz comes out and you drop them.
