love stories, romantic comedies and binge watching Grey's Anatomy, I
can't get enough. While having a "holiday" like Valentines Day is super fun
and a great excuse to go shopping and spoil your better half, I believe
many of the suggested V-Day gestures are things you should be doing often.
While most people can't afford to have a plane write a
sweet message in the sky on a daily basis, I've gathered
four of my favorites that I love doing that will have your sweetheart
feeling super loved and lucky to have youđź’—
Cook Their Favorite Meal
1.) We all have that one favorite meal that you could eat all the time..
The perfect Filet Mignon, a simple grilled cheese and tomato soup
or your favorite slice of gourmet pizza. While having that meal on your birthday
or special occasion is nice, why not cook it for your guy from time to time,
especially if you know he's had a long day at work.
(PS, it doesn't just have to be a dinner food..Who doesn't love pancakes at nighttime?)
Write A Love Note
2.) The classic love note. While it's so easy to shoot a quick text message
to say "I miss you" and "I love you", nothing quite does it like a hand written
note or message. My favorites are writing something sweet on a post-it and
leaving it inside a drawer you know they'll open, putting it inside their wallet or
even sending them a love letter in the mail even if they live a mile away.
Dress Up
3.) It wouldn't be my blog without mentioning fashion in some sort..
Whether you've been together 5 months or 5 years, something I strongly believe
in is dressing up for your man. There's nothing better than getting home from
work and throwing on yoga pants and a comfy tee, but there's also nothing better
than seeing your guys eyes light up when he sees you in that favorite dress and
heels..putting in that extra effort is always worth it. Dressing up brings you back to
those early relationship days when you wanted to look perfect, always.
Bake The Way To Their Heart
4.) This one is by far my favorite.. What better way to a mans heart than
baking dozens of his favorite treats? Find out early on what his favorite dessert
is and surprise him by baking a few dozen of those cookies or his favorite cake.
In the past, I baked for someone once a week for a year and left the goodies
on the front steps to his house or on the seat of his car (if you can slyly put it there).
What are some of your favorite Valentine's Day Ideas?
XOXO
